Legal notice and risk warning

This desk explains mechanisms. It does not give advice, it does not name an operator, and it cannot tell you what a specific clause will do in a specific jurisdiction. What follows is the disclosure and the warning in full.

Tick 01

01General information, not advice

Everything on this site is general information about how mechanisms usually work. It is not financial, legal, tax or gambling advice, and it is not a substitute for the terms of any account you hold, the rules of any regulator, or advice from a qualified professional.

TERMSThe inactivity periods, fee schedules, closure rules, refund rules and unclaimed-balance rules are set by each operator and its regulator. They differ between operators and change over time. The clause in your own terms is the authority, not this site.
NO-OPNo operator is named, quoted or endorsed here, and nothing on this site is a statement about any particular operator’s practice.
NO-WAYNothing here is a way to abandon an account without consequence, to recover a balance that has already been forfeited, to avoid a fee you have already agreed to, or to keep an account open when a rule says it must be closed.
CHANGEContent is reviewed as mechanisms change, but a page can only describe the shape of a process at the time it was written. Where a detail matters to you, check the primary source.
Tick 02

0218+ and the real risk

Gambling is an adult activity with a real and asymmetric cost. Every stake is money at risk and can be lost in full. A settled result is not a signal about the next one, and no explanation of a mechanism changes the arithmetic of a game.

  • Never stake money you cannot afford to lose. That includes money you will need for bills, rent, food or debt repayments, and it includes money that is not yours.
  • Never borrow to play, and never chase a loss. Increasing a stake to recover a previous loss is the pattern that turns a bad evening into a serious financial problem.
  • Use the controls you have. Deposit and loss limits, session reminders, time-outs and self-exclusion exist for exactly this. They are far easier to set before you need them than during.
  • Get support early. Free and confidential help is available in most countries through national gambling-harm helplines, for players and for the people around them. Family and friends can call them too, and asking for help is not a last resort.

If gambling is not a choice you are making

Problems with gambling are common, treatable and not a question of willpower. If play has stopped being a decision, the right next step is to talk to a professional service rather than to a website — including this one.

Tick 03

03Accuracy, corrections and scope

Three commitments, kept deliberately narrow so that they can actually be honoured.

Verification
Every page is requested over real HTTP before it counts, with its canonical URL, structured data, internal links and disclosure checked, so nothing here is a page that does not load or a claim with no destination.
No social proof
There are no testimonials, no user counts and no invented statistics. Where a figure appears it is arithmetic the reader can check, not a survey result.
Corrections
If a page is found to describe a mechanism wrongly, the page is the thing changed. Nothing here should be read as a standing promise about a process that a regulator or an operator can alter.

Affiliate disclosure and risk warning

Every affiliate link on this page and in the header is a sponsored link to a partner operator, and we may be paid if you open an account through it, at no extra cost to you. That link pays us; it does not improve any decision, it is not a ranking, and it is never a recommendation to play. Nothing on this page is financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is a way to abandon an account without consequence, to recover a balance that has already been forfeited, to avoid a fee you have already agreed to, or to keep an account open when a rule says it must be closed. 18+ only. Every stake is money at risk and can be lost in full. The mechanics explained here — how inactivity and dormancy are defined, whether a dormancy or inactivity fee can be charged and in what order fees come out, what a closure does to a balance, how to close an account deliberately, what reopening restores and what it does not, and where an unclaimed balance can end up — are general descriptions of how that process usually works, not a statement of the terms, periods or fees that apply to you: the inactivity periods, the fee schedules, the refund rules and the unclaimed-balance rules are set by the operator and its regulator, differ between them, and change over time. A decision is made by the operator, not by this site. This page does not name any operator and is not a substitute for the operator's terms, any regulator's rules or advice from a qualified adviser. Never stake money you cannot afford to lose, never borrow to play, and never chase losses with a larger stake. Gambling can cause serious financial harm, including debt and damage to relationships and mental health. Free and confidential support is available in most countries through national gambling-harm helplines, for players and for the people around them.
